From graduation to certification

The CATIE Center is excited to take on the challenge of increasing the numbers of recent graduates who become certified interpreters.  In a new 5-year project, we will be investigating, piloting and evaluating evidence-based practices to decrease the amount of time between graduation and certification, and increase certification pass rates. The program will be designed to be replicated at partner universities around the country.

Our first year will be spent developing the program we will pilot.  Currently, we are exploring these activities and approaches to come up with an innovative and effective program:
